Jennifer Nevitt, PsyD, MSOD is a principal consultant for Phillips Associates with over a decade of experience helping companies and individuals in such areas as organization effectiveness, strategic planning, executive coaching, organizational change, and building high performing teams. Jennifer helps clients design creative solutions to meet specific business objectives by investigating difficult problems from every possible angle.

Because Jennifer has experience from both internal and external positions, she understands the complexity of working inside an organization. She has years of practical experience in manufacturing, holding management positions that include Production Manager and Director of Purchasing. In addition, she worked both nationally and internationally as an external consultant with RHR International Company.

Jennifer has worked successfully as an executive coach to senior management in many areas including interpersonal dynamics, leadership, career navigation, and strategic decision-making. In addition, many executives seek her advice when they are perplexed by issues ranging from executive coaching to team dysfunction.

As a successful facilitator, Jennifer aligns senior management teams with the strategy of the organization. Furthermore, she has a proven track record of successful senior team development, conflict resolution, and merger and acquisition integration. Her expertise on cultural integration was the basis for her article, “Merging Cultures,” which was published in the October 2004 issue of American Executive.

Jennifer has worked across several industries including health care, high-tech, consumer goods, professional services, universities, national laboratories, construction and pharmaceuticals. Some of the more recognizable organizations are Kraft Foods, Motorola, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, University of California, and Pfizer. Additionally, she works with some smaller entrepreneurial companies.

Currently, Jennifer is Adjunct Faculty for the Master of Science in Organization Development program at Pepperdine University. She is also a licensed psychologist in the state of California. She is a member of the American Psychological Association; the Society for Consulting Psychology; the Organization Development Network; and the Bay Area Organization Development Network.

Jennifer earned her Doctoral Degree and MA in Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology (now Alliant International University). She earned her Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University. She received her BA in Psychology at California State University, Northridge. Before transferring to California State, she competed in swimming for the University of Maine at the NCAA Division I level.
