Lisa Schenk has 15 years experience helping companies and individuals develop strategies for success, build high performing teams, and develop world-class communication. Five years at McKinsey & Company provided Lisa with the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries to improve performance as part of major strategic initiatives.
Lisa has supported clients around the world through strategic planning and major change efforts. With particular expertise in improving interpersonal dynamics, Lisa brings a strong humanistic approach to her work along with a bias toward bottom line impact.
A comprehensive approach to building teams has made Lisa a sought after coach and facilitator. She has supported many McKinsey and other client teams as they ramp up to high performance. Her approach to team building involves kicking off for success a process designed to ensure agreed upon goals, norms, and outcomes assessing team dynamics and performance against stated goals, and revisiting the team process to uncover learnings that may be shared with the organization or transferred to the next team experience.
Lisa has worked with over a hundred executives to improve their professional presence and increase their impact on teams and in board rooms. She has coached executives to attain a variety of goals from improving leadership capabilities and interpersonal dynamics to creating more structured and compelling messages. Her workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions are designed to incorporate 360 degree and live feedback as well as video and improvisational techniques to surface unique style and presence.
Developing and facilitating communication skills training continues to be a large part of Lisas work. Her training programs are designed to work in the context of larger organizational objectives and cover topics ranging from more abstract coaching and leadership capabilities to very skills-based presentation skills, professional presence, and logical structuring techniques. As with all of her work, Lisas training programs are developed in partnership with her clients, built around clear objectives, and designed to have bottom line impact.

An award-winning teacher, Lisa has been faculty at the USC Marshall School of Business and the Annenberg School of Communication. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Organization Development Network and has held board positions in both organizations. She also serves as President of the board of ReachLA, a non-profit organization that educates and motivates inner city youth.
Lisa has a Ph.D. in Communication from USCs Annenberg School.
